On December 2007 , emergency treatment unit , " Shala 12000 " was produced and installed by the RVWT experts in northern Ethiopia for the refugee communities at Humera as donated by UNICEF . The installing experts successfully completed the assignment for the population at the refugee camp coming from local as well as other areas including the Sudan , numbering to 2500 . The area is characterized by its hot climet and altitude a.s.l. is only 640 m. the installation work was attended and guided by the Water Mines , and Energy Bureau of Tigray Region and the UNICEF Focal persons . Training on operation and maintenance of the unit was also delivered as to enable them handel the units in absence of high skills .
