Rift Valley Water Technology ( RVWT ) is a new technological company based at Bishooftuu town of the Oromia Regional State ( Debre Zeit ), East Shoa Zone , about 45 km from Addis , and currently it is operating in its new complex on the alternative subjects of water treatment as its inaugural and simplified technology , ideal for rural and emergency water treatment methods . It is a young firm , with only 3 years in operation after becoming an independent institution , separated from its mother company called " Elettromeccanica Santilli & Figli plc " ( ELECSA ) , situated at Mexico Square , in the heart of Addis who is known for its best electrical , mechanical maintenance and supply for over fifty five years . RVWT has its own manufacturing compound with relevant offices , warehouses , product test fields for quality control activities and sufficient land for yet another upcoming program which is part of the initial plan .

Historical Background of Rift valley Water Technology plc

Rift valley Water Technology plc is a newly established technological firm, an affiliate of the ELETTROMECCANICA SANTILLI & FIGLI Company, which was established in 1953 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and has maintained to remain in its objectives for the last 52 years.

ELETTROMECCANICA SANTILLI & FIGLI, to date, has been involved in supplying, installing, and repairing of electrical and mechanical equipment in all parts of the country. In its expansive context, the intention and competent capacity of the firm has brought new Vision to the highly skilled staff that their stored potentials should be used in solving local and regional problems existed in Water Supply and Sanitation Systems and as a result the technological firm called Rift valley Water Technology plc was born.
